Thomas Mielke is Executive Director of ISTA Mielke GmbH in Hamburg (Germany), OIL WORLD, a leading research organization that provides global supply, demand and price analyses, statistics and forecasts for all the major oilseeds, vegetable oils & animal fats and oilmeals as well as for biodiesel and other products with clients in 100 countries.
 
Two times a week a market report is also released in Mandarin. Thomas Mielke joined the OIL WORLD team in the mid-1970s, after studying economics. Thomas Mielke was a member of the Program Advisory Committee of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board for 15 years. In 2014 Thomas Mielke received a Lifetime Excellent Award of the Malaysian industry in recognition of his contributions and commitments.

Dr. Fadhil Hasan is Senior Economist and Head of Foreign Affairs Division of Indonesian Palm Oil Association / GAPKI.

Dr. Fadhil Hasan held various positions previously among other as Executive Director of GAPKI
from 2009 to 2017, Director of the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance
(INDEF), Director of Standardization and Smallholder Development of Council of Palm Oil
Producing Countries (CPOPC), Member of National Committee for Economy and Industry
(KEIN), Chairman of Supervisory Board of Indonesian Bank Central and Director of Corporate
Affairs Asian Agri Group.

Dr. Fadhil Hasan graduated from Bogor Agricultural University, and earned Master of Science
from Iowa State University, USA and Ph.D from University of Kentucky, USA majoring in
Agricultural Economics.

Limited (Edible Oil Refinery+Solvent Plant), FWQ Enterprises (Pvt) Limited (Edible Oil Jetty + Edible Oil Storage Terminal), Mapak Qasim Bulkers (Pvt.) Limited (Edible Oil Terminal) (Joint Venture Projects between Pakistan & Malaysia-Port Qasim). He is also the Director of Dalda Foods (Pvt) Limited, Bulk Management (Pakistan) Pvt. Limited, Westbury (Private) Limited, Trading Enterprises (Pvt.) Limited, Shakoo (Private) Limited F&B Bulk Storage (Pvt.) Limited and Rotary Club, Karachi.

Mr. Rasheed Janmohammed is Chairman of Pakistan Edible Oil Refiners Association (PEORA), Chairman of Pakistan Shippers’ Council of FPCCI, He is also Chief Executive of Pakistan Edible Oil Conference (PEOC) which organized Seven consecutive Global Edible Oil Conferences in Pakistan and he is also Member of Rotary Club of Karachi. He is also Executive Committee Member of FPCCI, Committee Member of Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP), Executive Committee Member of All Pakistan Solvent Extractors Association APSEA۔

Previously, Mr. Rasheed Janmohammed was President of Bin Qasim Association of Trade & Industry (BQATI), President of Association of Port Terminal Operators (APTO). He is also Member of Managing Committee of Kharadar General Hospital. He was also Member of Prime Minister’s Task Force for the supply of Palm Oil from Indonesia.

Mr. Rasheed Janmohammed has been a regular speaker in International Edible Oil Conferences, including, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and UAE.

Shakil Ashfaq has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Eva Foods (Pvt) Ltd. (formerly Shujabad Agro Industries (Pvt) Ltd.) since its establishment in 2000. The company is engaged in oilseed crushing and the production and marketing of cooking oil and ghee under the Eva and Maan brands. In addition to its core operations, Eva Foods is also involved in flour milling, grain trading, and grain-related cargo handling at the port through its associated ventures

Mr. Ashfaq currently holds the position of President of the Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry (BQATI).  He has served as President of the All Pakistan Solvent Extractors’ Association (APSEA) for the 2019–2020 term and on the Executive Committees of the Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers’ Association (PVMA) and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

He holds a Bachelor of Science (1991) and a Master of Science (1993) in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University, USA.

Mr. Dorab E. Mistry

Dorab Mistry was born in India in 1953 and graduated from Bombay University in Commerce in 1973. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1976, having won the President’s Gold Medal..

He started his career at GODREJ, one of India’s leading industrial groups, in 1976. Since 1977 Dorab was based in London handling the vegetable oil buying and trading portfolio for GODREJ. The company’s wide ranging interests in vegetable oil processing, animal feeds, oleo chemicals, alcohols, soaps, toiletries, foods and plantations gave him a unique perspective of the world vegetable oil scenario..

Since 1996, Dorab has been a regular speaker on vegetable oil Price Outlook and is regarded as a leading analyst of price behavior. He also writes and speaks regularly on the Indian economic scene. Dorab has served as India’s representative on the managing committee of the International Association of Seed Crushers and was its Vice President from 2006 to 2008.

In June 2013, Dorab Mistry was appointed an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II Diamond Jubilee Birthday Honors List.


Mdm. Izzana Salleh

Mdm. Izzana Salleh is the Secretary General of the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC), where she provides strategic and diplomatic leadership to strengthen cooperation among member countries, advocate for producers at the global level, and advance sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation across the palm oil sector. She brings a distinguished career spanning public service, private sector leadership, and international nonprofit work.

She has served on the boards of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC), Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), TalentCorp Malaysia Berhad, and the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO), with appointments endorsed by the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia. Her professional experience includes founding RISE Human Capital, serving as Vice President at PEMANDU Associates, and leading national food security initiatives as CEO of Real Food Company.

Mdm. Izzana holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from Imperial College Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology. She is also the Co-Founder and Global President of Girls For Girls International (G4G) and has received several accolades, including the Women Leadership Innovator Award and recognition among Malaysia’s Top 30 Women of Excellence.
